Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you follow the lights.
How much does it cost?
Absolutely free. This is a gift from our community to your family. Donations are warmly accepted at the donation box in front of 3420 Shiloh Church Rd or online through PayPal, but there is never an admission charge.
When are the lights open?
Opening night is November 26, 2026 at 5:15 PM. The display runs nightly from 5:15 PM to 11:00 PM through January 6, 2027. Christmas Eve stays on all night to light the way for Santa; Christmas Day until midnight; New Year's Eve until 1:00 AM.
Where do we enter?
Enter from the intersection of Baux Mountain Road and Shiloh Church Road. Continue through the neighborhood and follow the lighted arrows toward Merlendale Lane and the turnaround.
How long is the route?
The full route is about one-half mile from entry to exit. You are welcome to take your time while keeping traffic moving safely.
What radio station do we use?
Tune to 89.7 FM for synchronized Christmas music. Please keep the volume respectful for our neighbors and other guests.
Should we turn off our headlights?
Please dim your headlights and use parking lights when practical for the best viewing experience. Use normal headlights whenever needed for safety.
Can we get out for pictures?
Please remain in your vehicle through most of the neighborhood. Guests may safely stop at the designated pull-off areas near Shiloh & Merlendale and across from 3420 Shiloh Church Rd. There are no sidewalks, so use caution, do not block traffic, and do not enter private yards.
What vehicles can come through?
Cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, limos and small church buses have visited successfully. Large buses and vehicles pulling trailers are not recommended because of the turnaround.
What is the maximum speed?
Please keep your speed at 10 MPH or less throughout the neighborhood. Do not tailgate and allow vehicles beneath the arches time to clear.
What if it rains or snows?
The lights shine rain or snow. If unforeseen circumstances force a closure or schedule change, we'll post updates on Facebook.
Can we share our pictures?
Please do! We love seeing the lights through our guests' lenses. Share your photos on our Facebook page and Google listing.
